To the Mascotti Family,

I would like you all to know that I share in your sorrow at the passing of "Pops". I did not really get a chance to know him well, but I did get a chance to experience his kindness, and compassion. I am eternally grateful for the loving kindness he showed to my mother, and to my sister Regina. He was a family man and for those of us who watched him, we learned that there is nothing more important than showing that you love and care about your family. Thanks for being a great teacher, "Pops".

Dad, Family and friends love you so very much and are going to miss you greatly, but we will always carry you in our heart and minds. You have made such an impression on our lives, that the pain and sorrow we feel is truly real, as you leave your earthly body to take your place at Jesus's side. The last three years have been very tough on you. I know as you lay there and could not communicate with us those last few days, I know our presence helped confort you. I can understand the fear you faced, but could feel you relax, as I whispered over and over those heart felt words (Jesus is right here waiting to take your hand, because he loves you more than we do and he will always be by your side. Do not be afraid any longer, its ok to let go and be with Jesus, he will always comfort and love you with a love like no other.) We can all take confort in knowing that Jesus has taken away the fear and pain to be felt no more. We love you so much dad and will forever more.

Your loving son Mickey

I only knew one grandfather in my life and he was the best that anyone could ask for. Granddad, you were never selfish with your time. You were always kind and gentle, loving and supportive and I thank you for that. I will cherish the time you spent with us as children, fishing, camping, or just visiting and talking. I smile when I think back on those memories and I am thankful that I have them to reflect on. I love you and I will miss you.

To the Mascotti Family,

I did not get to know "Pops" well, but my family has experienced both his kindness and his love. I do know that he was a loving , kind, and caring man who has passed these traits down through his children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren.

I will always remember Mr. Mascotti who enjoyed eating the Thanksgivings meal I would prepare for my family.

His sons did not care for Chitterlings but Mr. Mascotti loved them and enjoyed them each time he shared Thanksgiving with us.

He was a very Warm and caring man who loved his family very much. He went the extra mile to ensure that his impact on someone was positive. He always seem like a very happy go lucky man, who love to make sure everyone around him was happy.

We will forever miss him, however we celebrate his life and am happy he is no longer in pain.

We will be forever in his debt because of the strong ethics that he instilled in his children.

Michael is a very dear and precious friend, whom we value very much.

Love to the Mascotti Family.

I thank God for the life of Uncle Percy and that I was a part of it. I have very fond memories from childhood to today with Uncle Percy, Aunt Marjorie and my cousins. I am so thankful that I was able to see him and spend a little time with him this July. We had a good time talking and laughing over memories and family. Thanks for the bottle of wine you gave me Uncle Percy, and thanks for love and many precious memories. To my family, you in my prayers and I pray that God will send the comforter to you now and in the future.

Love, Laney

To the Family of John Mascotti,

Pops was aways so kind and thoughtful to me. I always loved his presence and the time he took to be a great grandparent to Michael & Tara. He lived a full life and was loved by many, many people. Take care of each other and take joy in your memories of your wonderful patriarch.

How do you explain to people the grief felt over the loss of your sister's ex-husband's father? Pops, I don't have many memories of my life where you were not family. You blessed our family by being a constant presence. I will miss your gentle soul.

Uncle Percy you will be missed by so many people! You are a great person. I have so many memories of coming to visit Colorado Springs and one of the first things me and my sister would do is come to your house to surprise you! I enjoyed our many conversations with you. I love you very much and will miss you often. I know you are in a better place now but I will see you one day soon! To the family, you are all in our prayers....I love you!

Love,
