I was so sad to hear of the news, Father McCormick was such a kind loving person, he was one reason I felt so at home during mass. I followed him from St. Annes to Nativity - To those closest to him my prayers are with you

When we lived in Arvada in the 70s, we met Fr. McCormick. He was one of three priests that gave my mother the last rites on Aug. l981. My niece, her husband, my husband and I went to Colorado Springs for dinner with Father. He was such a kind and caring priest. When I was in Arvada for the last time, I tried to contact him at The Nativity of Our Lord Church in Broomfield before I left, but his secretary said he was busy and so I was unable to speak to him. Sooooo sorry. I will pray for him every day as I pray for Father Barone too who used to bring communion every Friday to my mother along with Fr. McCormick.

Our family will greatly miss this wonderful servant of God. He was an amazing priest, but also a caring and amazing man. He thoughtfully touched the lives of many and thoroughly impacted those he ministered to. Children were drawn to him and we feel blessed to have known him.
As I said at the wake tonight, God Bless your family and may you find peace through his works.

When we lived in Colorado Springs Fr.McCormick was a special friend
to our six sons and us. Sometimes Fr. would come to the house to play cards with the boys, win, then take them out to lunch the next day.
He had these six boys as Altar boys at his Masses, three on each side of him. Fr. Mac was a dedicated Priest who loved his Church and its people.
