John Osborn passed away the morning of May 5, 2022 surrounded by his wife, Mary, daughter Maggie Osborn Zuniga (John), and son, Lance Osborn (Michelle).
John was a school counselor at Pike's Peak Elementary School, Harrison District 2 for 30 years. He loved helping children and their families. He always said "it was the best job I ever had". He met his wife, Mary, in 2012 through his dog, Harley. Perfect meeting. They married in 2013 and lived a wonderful life together. They traveled, fished, went to Rockies games, and had lots of laughter between them. He especially loved his Tuesday morning breakfast with the Romeo's, playing poker with his poker buddies on Thursday's, enjoying the feeling of freedom riding behind his Harley Davidson and spending time in the mountains.
He was very dedicated to his son and daughter, their spouses and granddaughter, Murphy. We never missed a Sunday phone call with family. He loved them with abundance and was so very proud of them and their successes. He was preceded in death by his brother Paul, and survived by his brother Bill, sister-in-law Susie, and nieces and nephews.
John was a special man, and we all are so very blessed to have known him. He touched everyone's life with his kindness. He will be missed.

We only met once but I know from the way he lived his life that he was heroic and SO very loved! We will never forget and always honor those who love and help their fellow human beings through their good work and deeds. Sending love to all John's family today.
