So many memories of John. This cold weather brings one to mind....Cindy and I were probably in HS. We were with John driving around one cold and snowy day in, I think, John's Golden Eagle Jeep. We were in the parking lot across the street from East Jr. High. Some car was doing donuts in the snow - maybe 2 revolutions. Well, John couldn't have that. He had to show him how it was really done. He put the jeep in 4-wheel drive and proceeded to do John Overturf's version of how donuts should really be done. He must have spun around 7 or 8 times. He had a great laugh when he would do things like that!
My sincere thoughts go out to the Overturf and Wilson families.

I have such fond memories of our Kent Lane days growing up with John and Cindy. Hide-n-seek, kickball, four-square, roller skating, jacks, jumprope, sardines, forts, "clubs", basketball, army men...we were always outside, we played til dark every day we could...I will miss John but am glad he was part of my youth. My thoughts are with his family and friends.

Julie, Dr. & Mrs. O and the rest of the Overturf family, My thoughts and prayers are with all of you. Although the distance between us has limited our contact through the years, John, and indeed the rest of you, will always be a part of me. John was truly a wonderful person, someone I respected greatly and when I think back to our college days, one of the most influential people in my life. I think we opened each other’s eyes to so many things. He will truly be missed.
