I have not been in the area for many years, but I will always remember Lump, his 1st wife Linda, Donna, and Anita, I used to work with Linda at the Jacks in Nazareth back in the 80s when I tended bar there and Pauky would come in every day and brighten it up! I sonet many hours socializing with him and Linda, and I played on the dart team for one year at the towne house and I remember my talks with Donna after my mother passed and playing darts with Anita and Pauky was always there with a smile. He was very famous in town and everyone knew him and loved him. May God give you strenght through your loss and know that he is at peace and safe and we will all someday meet again. He has not gone from you, he is always watching and protecting you. You can talk to him anytime and rest in knowing he is not alone. Until we all meet again,

Many years ago Lumpe taught me how to drive to succeed as our basketball coach, way back in the day at Holy Family. It is a life lesson I carry with myself until today. In many ways he lives on, in all of us, with the kindness, knowledge, and that infectious smile that brightens all our hearts and souls.

I was very sad to hear of John's passing. He will be missed by a lot of people in this lifetime. The type of person that he was is described in his obituary. "He was a humble and gentle soul who never met anyone who did not become his friend". He taught us a lot about life that we will never forget. God bless you.

This is a voice from the past. I am so very sorry for your loss and for all the people who ever had the pleasure of knowing Pauky. Years ago when we traveled in the same circles and there was a piano in the house, we would play for hours. I would play the left hand and he would play the right hand (melody). His favorite song was (when the saints come marching in). Then we made up our own song and Pauky names it "Endless" because we would play it for hours. He never wanted it to end. I'll always remember playing that song "Endless" for as long as I live. I also remember going to the races in Nazareth that he always gave me tickets for. He was a beautiful person Nita, and I know we will all miss him forever. Take comfort in knowing that when you lose a loved one you never really get over it. You just simply go on trying to live life without them keeping them safely tucked in your heart. God Bless you and the family, and know we are all saddened by his passing.

Sorry for your loss. My mom's maiden name was Pavkovich. Her name was Lucy. Also have an Aunt Mary, and uncle John Pavkovich. Their dad came from Yugoslavia right before WW1 started. Wondering if we are any relation. Your relative John has similar features to my Uncle John. Just trying to find some family history. God Bless you all and very sorry for your loss.

My condolences to Anita & Family. I knew Lumpy most of my life working with him at Lone Star Cement and just knowing him from Pauky's Pub. The most I remember about him was his Pontiac GTO and also his "LAUGHTER" which was very deep and humorous. I lost a really and truly "GREAT" friend.

The last I saw all of you was at my brother's wedding. I recall with fondness when I was a wee lad your Dad & me stopping over at Mario Andretti's house for some reason (I still have a picture I drew in 1969) & much later as a Muhlenberg College student watching the crazy NCAA Finals at Pauky's Pub & everyone going nuts when Jim Valvano's Wolfback team won in the last seconds. Your Dad (& Mom) were also always very generous & giving. We all share those memories growing up.

We only know Pauky for a few years and it seems as though we have know him forever, one of the great ones! Allow all the great times and memories to ease your pain. Our thoughts and prayers are with you.

I am saddened by the news that John Paukovits passed away. He was a classmate of mine all through grade school and high school. More than that, he was my best friend through all those years. We grew up on the same street and he often came over to our house to play football or basketball with me. We played football together for the Holy Family Chieftains and the Notre Dame Crusaders where he was a basketball star and started all four years, the first player to reach 1,000 points scored. The last time that I saw him was at Pop's funeral in 1980. Our high school class had its 50th year reunion this past weekend at Holy Family Club. I hope someone informed his classmates of his passing. This news reminds of how fleeting life is and how soon it is gone. My sympathy to his family.
