John Robert Ross, 93, passed away on June 7, 2025, in Colorado Springs, CO.
He is survived by his sons, Larry Ross and Marty Ross; daughters, Mary Jean Fonk (Jim) and Carol Ryan (John); daughter-in-law, Helen Noakes; 10 grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren. John was preceded in death by his parents, Joseph and Ruth Ross; brother and sister-in-law, Frank and Roz Ross; and son, Michael Ross.
John was a dedicated parishioner at St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church.
Funeral Monday, June 30th 10:30 with a rosary at 10:00 at St. Francis of Assisi.

I knew John through the CMC where he was a dedicated volunteer. He loved mountain conservation and access and he worked hard. But most importantly, he was always a kind, generous and funny soul. He will be missed.

John was a true friend, a gift to all who knew him. He was a dedicated volunteer at his church, The Colorado Mountain Club and the airport. We spent many hours together, reviewing CMC's finances when he was the treasurer. I will miss our many political conversations over lunch. Rarely did we agree!
