Dr. John Robert Salata passed away peacefully at Centura-Penrose Hospital in Colorado Springs on December 22, 2022, at the age of 93.

Dr. Salata was born in Steubenville, Ohio, on July 5, 1929, to John and Mary (Nemith) Salata. Dr. John Salada was a Cardio-thorasic "Fellow"at Georgetown Univ. Hospital in 1964 when I was a medical student there. Bob was an excellent mentor to me. Many years later, we both settled in Colorado Springs.
