This gentleman was one of the finest persons I have ever known. I was fortunate enough to be his Detachment Sergeant Major at Kent State University from 1971 until his retirement in 1975. The wife and I visited the Colonel a few years ago and had a wonderful couple of days to visit. I was fortunate enough to know his wife Nancy and his two daughters that made for a wonderful family for our Detachment. I know that he is now with Nancy and his son Al who he hasn't seen in a number of years. God loves you SIR and so do I. We will see you again someday I'm sure.

It was an absolute pleasure to have Jack in our Silver Sneakers class and have the privilege of getting to know him. He brought smiles to everyone's faces and laughter to the community. He amazed me every day with his commitment to exercise and his enthusiasm for life. He was such an inspiration! What a neat guy who lit up the room! We miss him so much. My thoughts and prayers are with you, Anne and Jane.

We are missing our grand daddy, as Vincent says his "grandma" praying for peace and guidance during this difficult time for our family and extended family in Colorado that Grandad loved so much. Happy that the boys got to know him and love him as much as Nanne and John have had growing up, his love for his grandchildren is so beautiful. It breaks my heart that he is no longer here, but happy that he is with his beautiful wife once again and everyone he had to miss over the years.
