John Vanden Heuvel of Colorado Springs died on August 2, 2022, at the age of 66. He was born in Green Bay, WI on August 9, 1955. John was a lifelong Packer fan and an avid NASCAR fan. Hot days spent at the racetrack, and weekends fishing and camping with his friends and family were among his favorite pastimes. He worked hard all his life as a Welder/Fabricator at several shops around Colorado Springs.
John had a kind heart and would do anything for his loved ones, but you could plan on him giving you a hard time first! You could count on John to bring humor into any situation. His quick wit and clever antics will be what his family and friends will miss the most.
John is survived by his loving wife Becky, who he shared 47 years with, his father, John Sr, his sister Terri, two children, Jacob, and Sarah, three grandchildren, and many other relatives and friends that will miss him deeply.
Family and friends will gather at the Vanden Heuvel residence on August 13, 2022, at 4:00pm. They would love you to join them in celebrating his life if you are able.
