I worked with Johnnie when he was the City of Colorado Springs City Auditor. Our offices were very close also, so I had the pleasure of knowing him personally. He was a good person as well as being a very good and fair City Auditor. I was the Budget Dir. at the time & knew him for lots of years so I am very confident of my opinion. I don't know his family but I want to extent my condolences and sorrow at Johnnie's passing. Best wishes as I know this is a very difficult time for the family.

Losing the best friend with whom you grew up together hurts. But it's a bittersweet loss. There's a lifetime of memories to take, of happy moments that will never be forgotten, including our last visit.
Take care, pal, thanks for your friendship, the friendship and love of those around you and God Bless!
