Jordan Tavernier Obituary
Jordan enjoyed playing volleyball, hiking and spending time with family and friends. She was an accomplished artist and especially enjoyed photography.
Jordan is survived by her mother, Diana; brothers: Jason and Aaron Tavernier; sister, Riley Tavernier; maternal grandparents, George and Patricia Wendt; aunts: Paula Wendt and Linda Neasbitt and her uncle, Michael Wendt. She is also survived by numerous cousins and many friends.
Memorial services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, February 19, 2014 at the Shrine of Remembrance Funeral Home, 1730 E. Fountain Boulevard, Colorado Springs, Colorado 80910. A reception will follow services at the Olympian Plaza Reception and Event Center, 975 S. Union Boulevard, Colorado Springs, Colorado 80910.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to St. Jude's Children Hospital, 262 Danny Thomas Place, Memphis, Tennessee 38105.

i love and miss you monkey with all my heart!! I think about you everyday. Losing my sister and best friend hasnt been easy but i know youre in a better place watching over me. Youve opened my eyes through life and even in death. Ill never forget your words of wisdom, laughter, cries, pain, happiness, luck, beauty, or talents. I walk this Earth with your guidance and love. I love you lots like tator tots!!

Jordan is one of the most wonderful persons that I have ever had the good fortune to meet. She had a great sense of humor and I especially loved the southern drawl she used when she was being sarcastic. Jordan had a rough life, but she managed to always maintain a positive attitude towards life. She was ambitious and determined to succeed. Her untimely passing is a tremendous loss to everyone that knew her.
