He made our City and the world a better place. Touched so many lives especially kids in a positively loving way

I remember him dearly and had nothing but respect and love for him!He trained my brother and I when he worked at the Holiday health spa.mr. alvarado was one of the finest human beings i;ve ever met to include his sons.God bless you all and my deepest sympathy to all family and friends......this world will sorely miss him!

Jose is home with the Lord! He prayed the sinner's prayer with me and his daughter, Loree, just a few years ago. He would often refer to it as his Divine Appointment. He was always kind to me and interesting to talk to since he had so many interests. A wonderful man and a great father-in-law, rest in peace Papa.

Jose, a wise and understanding man. A mentor a teacher who's impact on our city will always live on. My sincerest condolences to his family. We can best honor him by being like him.

Dear Alvarado Family: Jose's influence on me in the mid'60s helped me build a strong body,mind and character. He was a roll model and blessing to me. I was privileged to have worked with him around race relations during my career in the public schools. Certainly, the lives he touched so graciously are immeasurable, May the Lord comfort and heal as you grieve and carry on in his place.

I am so sorry to hear of your loss. Mr. Alvarado put his heart and soul into his dance groups and I always remember your whole family as givers and teachers. Thank you Alvarado Family for all you have done for the community. Your Father was a true inspiration. Sending prayers and hoping you find comfort in his legacy.

Heavenly father, please ease their pain and void. Ours thoughts & prayers are with all. Hope they are able to take comfort in knowing that he will live on in all the children & grandchildren, their thoughts, their hearts & their memories.
