I first met your family when I was probably about 5. You've always held a tender spot in my heart even though it's been many years. Joe and my Dad (Theron Bergman) were good friends and after my dad's accident I was always so moved to hear Joe read the blessing on the sacrament as he and my dad had done together many times. Even now, I can still hear Joe's voice. Our family shared in your grief when you lost Mike, one of my brother's closest childhood friends. Since I moved away, I only remember Cindy, Stephen, and Susan as children. Stephen & Susan were just babies when I took my turn in the nursery. To you and your dear mom Beverly I send my heartfelt condolences. The grandchildren have lost a truly terrific grandpa. I wish I could be at the service tomorrow to say goodbye to a very dear man.
