Remembering Joe
There are friends who leave footprints that last forever. Joe was one of those rare souls who made every moment brighter with his presence, whether we were sharing laughs on the golf course or simply catching up over a post round beer.
The Heart of Our Friendship
Joe's wry sense of humor was his signature - clever observations that made you laugh and think at the same time. He approached both golf and friendship with the same spirit: passionate, genuine, and always ready with a quip that would have us laughing all the way to the next hole. Even when shots went astray, his humor never did.
A Legacy of Laughter and Love
What made Joe special wasn't just his wit or his golf game - it was his unwavering presence as a friend. He was there for the big moments and the small ones, knowing exactly when to listen and when to lighten the mood with one of his perfectly timed observations.
Though we can no longer share new moments with Joe, his spirit lives on in every joke we remember and every round of golf we play. Somewhere, I like to think he's on the perfect golf course, making angels laugh with his wry observations, and waiting to play another round with old friends.
Rest in peace, dear friend.

Joe and I were residents at CMC Dallas. My wife Barbara was a good friend to Mary Corrigan and shared political views. So sad to
Hear of his and her passing.

Dr. Corrigan
Saved our 10year old daughter´s life because of his dedication to his little patients and his love for helping find cure for a rare bone diseases. She is now 34 years old mother of six and he was their doctor also. It saddens our hearts to hear this sad news . We will definitely celebrate his life and good memories. Prayers to his family and friends.

Joe was my partner, my friend, and probably most importantly--to my family--my children's doctor. He was an excellent doctor and possessed great common sense. I will miss him

FOR BILL CORRIGAN AND THE REST OF THE FAMILY: Joe was one of my bestt friends at Campion High School and my roommate during our first year at SLU when he was dating Elaine who later became my first wife. The three of us reconnected at different times and I was so sad to hear Joe has died. Joe was truly among the kindest, most admirable, likable and wonderful men I have ever known. He sort of personified what it means to be a good person. I am certain he will be missed in Colorado, but he is also missed and treasured by friend from his past. His family was so fortunate to have him as a brother, father and grandfather. I will be there in spirit to share his memorial...Bill Meis

To the Corrigan boys,
I sent a previous note, but don't see it- so I apologize if this is a duplicate.
I was so sorry to hear about your Dad, and you have my sincere condolences.
I met your Dad on the first day of his Pediatric practice at the Colorado Springs Medical Center, and we worked together for the next 14 years. He did indeed have a wry sense of humor and a loud laugh. He was patient, kind, generous and very smart. The kids all liked him and the Mom's trusted him. I remember him delivering Christmas gifts to the kids who probably would not have received any.
I was fortunate to have been able to keep in touch with him through out the years. He was really a good guy and we will all miss him!
My very best to all of you.

I am so grateful for my friendship and professional relationship with Joe in the many years we worked together at CSHP. He was a wonderful mentor, support, and role model for providing exceptional care. As the years went on we shared many days in practice together where he was always willing to share his humor and kindness with me, other colleagues and the staff. I will miss the chats we had together and his sage advice in the hard times. He was a truly gifted pediatrician and human being. Sending my condolences and prayers to the family.
