Joe Donnelly, 86, of Colorado Springs, CO died peacefully on Tuesday, August 2nd in Colorado Springs. He is survived by his loving wife of 60 years, Gail Donnelly and four children, Joe Donnelly Jr (Judy), Karen Brklich (Nick), Cheryl Crawford (Cory), and Kelly Hartman (Rick). He is also survived by 10 grandchildren and 1 great granddaughter. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, August 11 with the Rosary at 10:30 a.m. followed by Mass at 11:00 at Divine Redeemer Catholic Church, located 927 N Logan Ave in Colorado Springs 80909. Interment will follow at Pikes Peak National Cemetery on a later date. In lieu of flowers, the Family requests donations be made to Bristol Hospice.

Oh, I'm so sorry to hear of Joe's passing. My condolences to the whole family. I always remember that he was quick with a joke, great sense of humor and a caring soul. I'd met him several times volunteering at Memorial. May he rest in peace.

I was so sorry to see that Joe joined the Angels. I thought a lot of him and Gail and will keep them in my prayers along with the rest of the family. Both of them welcomed us when we joined the Knights and the Auxiliary. May he be met by the Angels and kept safe in the palm of his hands.
