joe,i got a phone call from frank king yesterday telling me that you passed away.we have not seen each other in over 25 years but i had to come and see you one more time. you were one heck of a good friend growing up in the 70's. your mom and dad were the coolest parents on the block... and the funniest...and had the best basement to play in. i'll never forget all the good times we had.

I spent many days and nights at the Marcantuono house and with you around Big Joe one thing was always clear, there was a good time to be had! Definitely the big brother of the group, though not much older then myself, but always there to lend a helping hand. Most memorable will be the smiles that you had on your face and the laughter you brought into our lives. You will never be forgotten

When I look back on the years that we were extended family, I always smile when I think of you. You were a big brother to all of us then, roadie, manager, friend & had that laugh that would stop any of us in our tracks. I have thought of each of you often over the years & will always remember my time with your family as some of the best, craziest times of my life. You are unforgettable. Love & support to your family.

Joey...growing up and being a part of your family will always be fond memories in my heart. You were one of the funniest people I have known and could always make me laugh. I know you are with my late husband Tommy in Heaven sharing the good times we all had. I still to this day use some of your phrases and tell stories of the good old days where pain never touched us. Rest in peace, youre free now.Love you, Melissa Yon
