MENDELSON, Judge Joseph A. With courage and dignity surrounded by his loving family on Sunday, January 16, 2005. Beloved husband of Anita Veroff for fifty-nine years. Loving and devoted father and father-in-law of Brenda and Marvin Segal, Susan and Charles Schwartzman. Cherished Zaida of Shari Segal, Harvey Segal; Jaclyn Schwartzman and Paul Schwartzman. Dear brother of Bessie Katz, Etta, the late Sarah, the late Dr. Hyman, the late Katie, the late Esther Levy, and the late Myer. Sadly mourned by his nieces and nephews. Special thanks to Dr. David Amdursky, Dr. Armand Elbaz, Dr. Arthur Rizzo and Dr. Jon Wyse for their dedication and compassion and to his caregivers Sonny, Tristan and Romeo for their care and devotion. Funeral service from Paperman and Sons, 3888 Jean Talon W. on Tuesday, January 18 at 1 p.m. Burial at the Shomrim Laboker Congregation Cemetery, Beth Yehuda Section, de la Savane. Shiva at 5622 Jellicoe, Cote St. Luc. Contributions in his memory may be made to "The Joseph A. Mendelson Memorial Fund" c/o Hebrew Free Loan Association, 733-7128.
