Joe and I went to UNLV together and were good friends. We lost touch after college but I always remembered him. Always smiling, happy and there when you needed him. I was saddened when I found out that Joe passes. He will always be rembered as a great guy and friend even by those who lost touch with him. Rest In Peace Santa , I miss you.

Our family will treasure the fond memories we have of dear Joey. We remember the little cousins fishing in Spearfish Canyon Creek, and the fun-filled Thanksgivings in Big Bear, Huntington Beach, Northridge, and Seal Beach. Joey's smile and warm friendly manner endeared him to all of us. We will keep Joey and his loving family close to our hearts and in our prayers.

I Miss you so much!!

Joseph, Joe, JoJo, Joey...AKA One of THE sweetest soul's I've ever had the pleasure of knowing. We met in High School and you brought cool to our school. Over the years, no matter how much time had lapsed, when our paths would cross we could pick up right where we left off. Your stories and memories were epic and could have us all laughing and smiling for hours. You observed, you learned, you shared, you touched “many a lives” and now you can rest, just rest.

I was one of Joe's co-workers at Denver Water and I and all of Joe's Denver Water family are deeply saddened by his loss. I truly enjoyed working with Joe as well as socializing with him outside of the work place. He was intelligent, professional, respectful and witty all at the same time. We will never be able to replace him and I will never forget him. God tells us that “this too shall pass” and I know that Joe is at peace with him now. My sincerest sympathies to all of the Santa family.

Joe - I just needed to let you, your family, and your friends know just how much of a difference you made at Denver Water. From the very first you fit right in and made the Desktop Infrastructure Team even stronger. Your technical abilities and your personality were the perfect additions and we will never be able to replace that.
I feel so blessed to have known you not only at work, but as a friend. Your thoughtfulness, humor, and willingness to share have helped me in so many ways. Thank you.
You are deeply missed.

I am so saddened to hear this tragic news. I have so many wonderful memories of Joe and Joanne when they lived in CA many years ago. I only met the children briefly but Joe and Joanne were always such warm, caring and fun people to be with and I loved hearing about their children when we would see them and now when I talk to them. My thoughts and prayers are with all the family. Dottie Neumann Huntington Beach, CA.

Joey........Thanks for all the memories and good times. From "hanging out" with the "older kids" to being around you and your family, you always made me laugh, ensured a good time, and acted like a "big brother." Rest peacefully my friend, you will truly be missed.

My well wishes and prayers go out to the entire Santa Family. Joe was undoubtedly one of the best people Ive ever been blessed to know. I mean that sincerely as he blessed everyone with a laugh and a smile even on the darkest of days. Somehow he gave us all everything he had to give. I can remember the surfer kid with the big heart driving around in that silver Subaru Brat, his Mexican Pullover Hoodie, his 501's and his new Vans with no socks and a foot of snow on the ground. As well, he was strong as a bull. You will be greatly missed Joe. Ill see ya later when you wake up from your nap brother. Peace be with you...

The first day I have met Joe, I could not help but to notice his warm and big smile! Very soon into our conversation I have learned that he has a lot of compassion and respect for others. We became instant friends!! Soon we hung out together for happy our twice a week. I could not wait for our next meeting. His energy and humorist outlook to daily events made me laugh uncontrollably! Here was someone who can accept my friendship unconditionally. You were a true friend , Joe! So long till we meet again!1

Thoughts and prayers to the Santa Family, I know Joe loved you all dearly. I met Joe when his family moved to Colorado Springs and he brought his So. Cal. Swagger to CMJHS. He introduced us Colorado boys to the surfer look and Van shoes. Joe was able to make you laugh and bring a smile to your face with his own sense of humor. He was a fun loving gentle person with a big heart. You will be missed but not forgotten My Friend. God Bless.
