MY BROTHER
I know that you had many friends and I know that I was one of them but what you did not know was that you were my best friend in the begining and in the end forever. Most of the time we would talk like brother musicians but other times we would talk about life and our own personal desires which did not include leaving our wives or family to persue music careers but rather finding ways to exchange our ideas over the internet. We came so close to acheiving that and we could both taste the friuts of our labor but alas it was not meant to be,sadly we were both of the same mind,to leave a legasy for our wives and our boys. My songs were like my children and just like my brother Marty we never found much interest in selling them. I will miss my brother more than anyone will ever kinow, ironically he was my strength and my reason to play music even though it did not start out that way. I played because I knew that every year when we got together he would be the only one who would know if I was in or out of shape. Believe it or not we both expected alot out of eachother and were never dissapointed. My love and admiration for Marty spands thirty four years and will never be replaced. MICHAEL DOUGLAS TRUJILLO

I will always remember what a kind and generous person Marty was. He always had time to listen to you, and made you feel special.

My name is Mark Shipp and I too worked with Marty for several years at Hamilton Standard. My image of Marty will forever encompass that that of a cranky, jolly, and generous man all in one. As many have already said, Marty was a terrific musician and was passionate about it. When he was not at work dealing with electronics, he could likely be found somewhere playing a fiddle, a guitar, or his banjo. My best memory of him playing was when he invited me to come up to Tres Hombres in Woodland Park where he would be playing - I arrived early and left late. He was a much better skier than I and taught me a few things on the slopes when we sent skiing once. Most of all, Marty was my friend and I will always cherish that I knew him. Rest well Marty.

But for the many miles between us we would have had many more good times together. We'll miss you and remember the times we shared.

Bruce and I spent the last couple of years enjoying Sharon and Marty's beautiful home and their company. Sitting in the back yard we would view the valley and experience the coolness of the air. Yes, music was always there, so much like something you would hear in Scotland/Ireland. When I (Judy)first heard his voice, I couldn't believe what I heard. Instantly, I was caught by this big voice and could not stop listening. Yes, he could play anything and only added to my amazement. We also think of you, Sharon, and how this has got to be so sad for you. I think of our times again when we were floating in the warm water of Idaho Springs and watching him go down a mountain like a gliding bird- So effortless. Marty's last words to us still ring in our ears, "I love you guys". How good is that. Thank you Marty for being our friend. Bruce and Judy

Marty was one of my favorite cousins, and one of the most talented musicians I've ever claimed as a relative.
One of my earliest memories was of Marty showing us little hick Kansas cousins how to override the speed governor on our 3-horse gokart, making it go maybe 20 mph instead of 15!! We thought were driving a rocket sled!
And then when he visited a few years later, he brought a guitar and was already singing and playing beautifully as a young teenager.
I will always remember Marty as a kind and gentle spirit who was always ready with good word and a great song.
Marty, you will be greatly missed and surrounded by peace light and heavenly music.
My heart goes out to Sharon, the families of Trish, Barbara, Rosemary, Marty & Wyatt, as well as the rest of his extended family and broad universe of musical compadres.
Sincerely,
Scott MacWilliams

Marty is remembered by this cousin as an easygoing spirit who more often than not, had a mischevious grin on his face and a far-off look in his eyes. He was an outdoorsy person who seemed to relish fresh air in his face and the wind at his back. Marty was an accomplished musician who was always picking up
new opportunities to learn and play.
My fondest memory is of him playing a fiddle and my brother, Bo, on the guitar at my wedding reception in
the middle of a field of clover in 1979.
The hard photos of that day and those in my mind are priceless, and it is with gratitude in my heart that I remember Marty in that light. Peace and Love to you for the memories

May your enduring memories provide you with comfort in this sad loss. I last saw Marty as a child before I left home. He was a wonderful cousin and I know that my siblings (his other cousins) have enjoyed knowing him as an adult. With love and sympathy -- Joanna MacWilliams Jones

My earliest memory of cousin Marty is riding with him in a red wagon down the hill on Christmas Tree Lane way faster than I wanted to go, picking up speed till we crashed into the hedge. He fell out laughing, I thought I was dead. Next memory, he is visiting us in Kansas, playing his guitar, singing "Michael, row your boat ashore".

It was pretty easy to tell that Marty was a pretty straightforward, caring guy. Modest, but talented. Quiet, but thoughtful. Smarter than you thought. We're going to miss you.

God bless Sharon and all of the Trigg family in their hour of need, you are in our prayers.

I was Marty's attorney. I know Marty had dealt with other attorneys who had failed to give him hope.

It was an honor and a privilege to obtain some measure of justice for him. He will be missed.

Marty was one of my favorite cousins and favorite people. Tim, Juliann, Katylee and I will all miss him. We have especially had fun snow skiing with Marty and Sharon the last several years. Marty was a great musician, and he could ski as well or better than anyone on the mountain.
We love you Marty.

My name is Noel and worked for several years with Marty at Hamilton Standard. We went through some really enjoyable time together. He talked me into getting on stage at our Christmas company party and sing La Bamba with the him and the band. It is something I have always wanted to do and to this date, it is one of my most cherished moments of that part of my life. Marty had a heart of gold and wished I could of spent more time with him. I Bless Him in the Name of of Our Lord Jesus Christ.

Bill Coleman

September 14, 2008

I am Bill Coleman, I met Marty when I was in need of a talanted musician to save a gig that was only a week or two away. Marty saved the day for more folks than he realized. I played with Marty in the "Aint Dead Yet" Band and Marty's passion for his music was awe inspiring. I learned a great deal from Marty and he became a true friend. Marty, Angie and I will miss you and our hearts and prayers go out to Sharon and the rest of your family. I will always treasure the memories of the time we were able to spend together playing music and some times just talking politics and cutting up. May God bless and keep you Marty Trigg. We will all be together again some day and what a hoedown it will be. Rest in Peace my brother.

I am Marty's brother in law and always was in awe of his musical ability. I enjoyed traipsing through the back alleys of San Franciso looking for guitars and searching the Sierra foothills for fiddles. He was a down to earth guy with a lot of talent. He loved the Broncos and since I'm a Chargers fan there was a friendly rivalry. He certainly brought smiles to those he came in contact with and in my book there is not much better you can say about someone.

Loretta Jacobs

September 13, 2008

I played in the band Special Delivery with Marty for many years. His love of music and life was bigger than him. I have several great memories of our special time together and I am blessed to have shared time with such a special man. Sharon and his family were also a very important part of my life and my sympathy goes out to them. I will always treasure our friendship and will be available for any support they may need in the future. God Bless Loretta
