Joshua Davis Obituary

Joshua Michael Davis, passed away from a rare cancer on January 16, 2014 at Providence Hospital, Everett WA. Joshua was born February 5, 1990 at the Air Force Academy, Colorado.

Josh attended Antelope Trails Elementary, Challenger Middle School, and Pine Creek High School, the latter from 2003-2007. He also attended Pikes Peak Community College, working toward a Psychology degree.

He served as a driver and shift lead for Dominos and Pizza Hut, a Network Analyst for Kellin Communications and PC Technician for TLC Computer Repair. After moving to Seattle, Josh taught beginning through advanced guitar.

Incredibly smart, Josh read and researched topics voraciously, having an encyclopedic knowledge of various subjects but focusing on music and psychology. He could philosophize and debate with the best of minds and come out on top, but with tact and finesse, making friends with those who met him. Best of all, Josh had an unstoppable sense of humor.

He is survived by his older brother, Ben, younger sister Jessica and parents Gregory Chip and Mary Davis. Memorial at Grace and St. Stephens Episcopal Church 601 N Tejon St, Colorado Springs, CO 80903 on February 8th, 3:00pm.

The world is full of platitudes, but all you need is what's in your heart, the support of good friends, and the abiding love of our Heavenly Father, with whom Josh will share eternity. You are all in my thoughts and prayers. May God grant you peace and comfort in the loss of your beautiful son. Hugs.......Sue

I will miss texting and messaging with Josh. I enjoyed reading his posts almost everyday, I looked forward to seeing what was on his mind and learning more about his interests in Music and other things. He was such an interesting and talented person and full of surprises. I wish we could have lived closer so I could have been there while he was growing up. But, no matter how much time had passed between visits, he always had a hug for me. I miss him so much, I think about you everyday. Love, Aunt Judy
