When I moved to Colorado Springs in 2002, Joy and Patricia befriended me. Joy helped with keeping me from being homesick. She and her children were alot of fun to be around. I didn't know that Joy was ill, I wished that I could have had a chance to say goodbye. I will miss her, she was a great person.

My dear Joy,
If tears could build a stairway, and memories were a lane, I would walk right up to Heaven to bring you back home again, I had to say goodbye today, hold your hand and let you know that even in the last moment i was there with you, so many memories we made together that will hold me for a while and its hard to let you go, even so i know that you are in a better place, no more pain, no more pain, so dont mind the tears I cry because it will take a little while to bring my smile, i know is selfish to miss you, to want you back, having fun together planning out stuff but as the days goes by i will learn to let you go and accept that you will always be in my heart, my best friend my kind soul my guidance, the pain will flow like a river and the soft gentle wind will comfort me as if it was your gentle hand letting me know that you as well will always be there for me, your little friend, littlewolf
