Joyce Bell Obituary

Denison, Texas - Joyce Lavonne Bell, age 86, joined our Lord and Savior Friday, February 3, 2012 at her home surrounded by loving family. Mrs. Bell was born on November 12, 1925 in Simla, Colorado the daughter of James R. and LaVern B. (Worrall) Cain. She married the love of her life, William C. Bell October 28, 1963 in Raton, New Mexico. Joyce traveled extensively and even though she spent many years away from Colorado it was always "home." She loved the mountains and found joy each time she returned. She loved to play bingo, read, do crossword puzzles and garden while watching the birds. But most of all she loved her family. She left a legacy of integrity, love of family and of God and a deep sense of compassion for all. Joyce will be greatly missed by all whose lives she touched. Mrs. Bell is survived by her beloved family, husband, William C. Bell of Denison, TX, son, Ron Bishop and wife, Jacqulyn of Colorado Springs, CO, daughter, Glynda Bentley of Denison, TX, grandchildren, Christine Emery of Denison, TX, Denisa Vance of Denver, CO, Madelyn Witt and husband, Craig of Colorado Springs, CO, Ronda Romero and husband, Jamie of Colorado Springs, CO, Michael Bishop and wife, Bernadette of Denver, CO, Karey Raymond of Colorado Springs, CO, Kasey Weeks and husband, Jesse of Colorado Springs, CO and Kelly Curtain and husband, Don of Colorado Springs, CO, 17 great-grandchildren and 4 great-great-grandchildren, brothers, James W. Cain, and wife Vera of Colorado Springs, CO and John B. Cain, and wife Connie of Ft. Morgan, CO, sister, Margorie Haynie of Ft. Worth, TX, numerous nieces, nephews and extended family. Celebration of Life Services will be held at NALC Meeting Hall, 2930 N. Academy Blvd., 12:30PM, Saturday, February 18th.
