you are always in my prayers. I am a confirmation student at St. Paul the Apostle Church and after this accident, they found the victims of WTC and put names and info in a basket and we picked one. The one we pick was to be our soul mate...and i got the chance to have u as my soul mate. Im sorry for this tragic incident to have happened. Especially to yourself. Maybe GOD wanted it to be this way...for you to join him in heaven. At least now ur in a safe and peaceful world. I'll continue to keep u in my prayers and please know that you are missed. RIP

I read of Sister Cummings in the Jan 8 Awake. I hope that the sure hope of the resurrection and the love of our world-wide brotherhood will be a source of comfort at this time.

America Cries
We see your sorrow-
and our hearts cry....
We can not erase your pain
but you do not have to face the anguish alone-for we-
-the American people-
are beside you.
We so desperately want to have the touch that brings you comfort,
the strength that gives you courage,
and the words to lighten your spirits.
And when we are left speechless
may the silence of our nation weave love into your hearts
to ease your sorrow.
May you find healing through our nation's strength as we-
-the American people-
face this difficult time together. Our hearts are with you. Teresa Jahn

This information was taken from the January 8, 2002 Awake magazine:
Joyce Cummings, age 65 and originally from Trinidad, had a dental appointment near the World Trade Center. Unfortunately, it was about the time of the disaster. She was apparently overcome by smoke and rushed to a nearby hospital. They were not able to save her. Hers was one of many cases of people suffering the effects of "time and unforseen occurrence." (Ecclesiastes 9:11) Se was known as a very zeolous evangelizer." Joyce was loved by many and will be greatly missed. We will see her again when the earth once again becomes a paradise and the dead are resurrected.
