To The Mascotti Family and Aunt Marvene,

Our thoughts and prayers are with you all durning this time of loss.

Although I did not get to meet Rick personally I have met him in the stories Ernie has shared with me. Through these stories I've been fishing with them together here in MN when Rick came for a visit and out fished everyone. I've been on many happy fishing trips with Ernie and Rick in the mountians of CO. I've been to many happy family celebrations. I do believe I could even taste the fantastic Green Chili Rick is so famous for. I have shared in these adventures though Ernies stories but I have also been present to the love and kindness Rick was able to give to others and how he was able to connect with people in a very honest and memorable way.

Ernie has shared the pain of his loss of his cousin and the sadness he feels for his Aunt Marvene and the whole family. Rick will live on in our hearts through his memories.

I am looking forward to meeting the whole family next summer durning or visit to CO.

With our sympathy and love,
Dianne and Ernie (Ornelas-Rick's cousin)

My wife Amy and I were shocked to learn of Rick's passing - what a terrific guy!
While we knew Rick for only a few short years, he was always so kind and generous.
We met Rick at Bennigan's and everyone *loved* him - Rick would go out of his way to help people in times of need... he helped out so many people!
Rick was always cooking up his Green Chili & Guacamole for not only the employees at Bennigan's but even all of the regulars!
Rick, at every sitting, ALWAYS spoke so highly of his Mother... he loved his Mom--- we send our condolences to his Mom and everyone in his family.
Rick will be terribly missed...

Rick, you will be missed. You were the one that made me who I am today. You taught me how to be a hard worker and do the best at what I do. We worked together at coke and you were the best man at my wedding. We went through some rough times but I still always thought of you as a friend. I was there when your father left this life and I never thought I would be here to see you leave. You are like a brother to me and I will miss you.

I remember all the good times hanging out at Ricks house every weekend. What great times those were.
Rick was a huge Bronco Fan and always made green chili for the game. He was over only 2 weeks ago with some chili for my family. I am so blessed that I got to see him. I will miss him terribly. He was one of the nicest guys I have ever met. He was the best man in our wedding 25 years ago!!
You will be missed Rick!! I love you!!

Hi Marvene
So sad to lose a son. You have our deepest simpathy. We often talk of you and Joe, now they are together. We are long time friends as we go way back. Good old Simms!!!
I remember Rick when he was little coming in to see his dad. Probably for FOOD, Joe would feed us all. We no longer live in Colo Spgs, we live in Oklahoma by all our kids, (2) Susan and her family, Richard and his family.
Our thought and prayers are with you and your family
Hope you are in good health.
Love and best wishes
