Juanita Thomas Obituary

Juanita Thomas beloved mother of 5, grandmother of 9, & great grandmother of 17 passed away at age 84 on October 11, 2015. She was born to Logan & Leona Talbot in Rushville Nebraska where she also met & married Garold ( Jerry) Thomas on March 17, 1951 who passed away in 1983. They moved to Igloo, South Dakota where they resided for 15 years. In 1966 they moved their family to Security, Colorado.

Juanita worked in clerical support for Ampex Corporation for 22 years. She enjoyed playing Scrabble & solving crossword puzzles. She also loved to draw, sew & crochet.

She Is survived by her 5 children: Cheryl (Dale) Clark, Lita ( Robert) Ness, Patti Mueller, Larry Thomas, & Jerri Thomas.

Juanita will always be remembered for her sense of humor & devotion to her family. She will never be forgotten & forever in our hearts.

A celebration of her life will be held at noon on Friday Nov 6 at Chapel of Memories, 829 S. Hancock with a dessert reception immediately following.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that a donation be made in her name to the arthritis association.
