Judith Forbes Obituary
Judith A. Forbes, 80, of Hamden, departed this life on December 14, 2019. Ms. Forbes was born in New Haven, CT on December 21, 1938, daughter of the late Gordon John Brown and Doris Brown. Prior to retiring, she was employed at Yale-New Haven Hospital as a Control Substance Technician. Judith was a longtime member of Community Baptist Church in New Haven. She leaves to cherish loving memories, her sons, Wesley Forbes (Arlene) and Glenn Forbes (Marie); nine grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends.
A celebration of Ms. Forbes' life and legacy will be held Monday, December 23, 2019, at 11:00 a.m. at Community Baptist Church, 143 Shelton Ave., New Haven. Viewing and visitation will be held at the church from 10:00-11:00 a.m. Burial will be in Beaverdale Memorial Park. Online guestbook available at curvinkcouncil.com

I worked with Judi for many years at Yale in the 80s. I always called her my second mom with her good advice and open ears. She was always classy and had an infectious laugh that I can still hear. I learned a lot from her and wish we kept in touch better. My condolences to her family that she talked of often and loved very much.

i worked with judy at the hospital she was a very nice and sweet person, i used to love to see her smiling face and sit and talk to her she was a very classy lady that could dress her butt off, i really missed her when she left the hospital,she will always be a very special person in my heart.

Thank you for always putting a smile on my face... your honesty, that smile and that red hair... you are one class act and one heck of a lady! I will always appreciate you & Aunt Lib when things were so hard during Candy's illness, you two had our backs and held us down!!! Judy you are sooo well loved and will be missed by everyone you touched in this life... including me!
