Judith Snouwaert Obituary

Snouwaert
JUDITH SNOUWAERT
September 23, 2021
Born in 1932 in Corvallis, Oregon she spent much of her childhood in Costa Rica and the Virgin Islands before she attended boarding school in the U.S. She worked after college as a teacher in Honduras, flew around the world as a Pan Am stewardess, and raised five children as a widow.
Judith jetted from Antarctica and the Northwest Passage to the south pacific. Her travels provided her with a wealth of stories and she loved to share them.
She was also fiercely proud of her children and grandchildren and was always eager to talk about them too.
A lover of the blues, a connoisseur of wine and an avid reader -- she was a woman of the world.
She is survived by her five children Brian, Sylvia, Jay, Felicia, Diedra and her 15 grandchildren.

I grew up near Judith and her kids. I believe Judith and my mom, Marilyn were friends. My Mom was a single mom working and going to school. I remember the Great Danes. One was as big as my pony. My sincerest prayers for grace and peace. Judith made an impact in my life. God Speed.
