Jules Bourgeois passed peacefully at home with family on June 7, 2022. He was 90 years old. He is survived by his wife, Sheila of 66 years, daughters Linda Williams, Mona Fisher and son Dan Bourgeois all of Colorado Springs, CO. Four grandchildren, five great grandchildren and a sister, Mary Ann Keller of Gonzales, LA. Jules was born October 9, 1931 to Joseph Paul and Eva Mancla Bourgeois in Darrow, LA, the eighth of nine children.
Jules was a veteran of the United States Air Force having served in the Korean War and retired from Civil Service.
Jules was a loving husband and father taking his family on Sunday rides in the mountains and camping trips in the summer. Always happy, helpful and very handy at fixing and making things. Loved country music and western movies, John Wayne was his favorite! He also enjoyed traveling, hunting and fishing.
A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, June 29, 2022 at 2:00PM at Pikes Peak National Cemetery, 10545 Drennan Blvd. Colorado Springs, CO 80925. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Veterans Association of America.
