Julia (Judy) Jane Dreismeier, 55, was born 26 November 1953 in Sioux City, Iowa. She died in hospice on 29 January 2008 after struggling with complications of diabetes. Judy grew up with her parents Jerome (Jerry) and Bette (Edwards) Dreismeier and five siblings. She is survived by all five of her siblings: Terre (Dennis) Berkland of Yankton, South Dakota; Steven (Trudi) Dreismeier of rural Rapid City, South Dakota; her twin sister, Janet (Kim) Stockinger of Security, Colorado; Sandie (Darrol) Birk of Rapid City, South Dakota; Russell Dreismeier of Colorado Springs, Colorado. My poor words, such as they are, cannot begin to express how happy I was to be a Dreismeier and to have such wonderful sisters. The loss of my sister Judy is, to me, a sharp arrow shot from the bow of sorrows. Rest well and peacefully, my sister, until we are all reunited in that family circle in heaven.

I'm sorry I wasn't there when you left us.I want you to know that I love you and I will miss you. I thought you would always be there so there was no hurry to have a cup of coffee together while bragging about our grandchildren to each other. Kristen was a tower of strength even when the pain got the best of her.Sandie is right you would have been proud.I know you are with Mom and Dad so be sure to tell them "Hi" from the rest of us.You'll be taking care of each other now.
Love you always,Janet

Judy, I know your brother Russell, and your sister Sandra. Both have been friends of immeasureable value to me. I feel their sadness and sorrow at your loss, having lost my own beloved wife of 41 years in October 2007. Just as they were there to comfort me, I'll try my best to comfort them. May our Savior bless them with these words from Psalm 30:5
"...weeping may endure for a night, but joy comes in the morning." Through this life is sorrow, but through God's Son let us look forward to heaven's joy tomorrow. SandL

Aunt Judy,
I will miss you so much. I wish that I had spent more time with you but i know that you knew that you had a special place in my heart. You always will have that place in my heart forever, I hope that when I enter the pearly gates that you will be waiting for me. I love you, Jennifer Joye, Sandra Kay's daughter

Judy, I wanted your family to know this prayer as it has been prayed many times:
May the Lord send Angels to watch over thee, May thier wings blow gentle breezes if you feel fevered. May they wrap you in softness and warmth when you feel chill, and may their halos light your path when all seems dark. May they comfort you, cheer you, and bless your days with joy and yur nights with peaceful slumber, and when the time comes for yu to return to the place prepared for you, may they transport you with swift and gentle wings.
I can and do carry you all in my prayers and in my heart. God grant you love, healing and peace. your sister, terreb.

Judy, I love you always. You will always be in my thoughts and prayers. I miss you. You would have been so proud of Kristie. She was so brave in this sad time for her and gave most of her time to you and your family. You were so lucky to have her as your daughter.
