Julienne Wilkinson Obituary

Julienne M. Wilkinson, age 81, of Colorado Springs passed away on Friday, September 23. Originally from Council Bluffs, Iowa, Julienne moved to Colorado to marry Darold A. Wilkinson who predeceased Julienne on September 21, 2003. She is also predeceased by her parents, Emory and Marie Campbell and her sister, Ruthanne Atkins. She is survived by two sons, Darold A Wilkinson II of Colorado Springs and Steven D. Wilkinson of New York. She is also survived by two brothers, Jerry Campbell of Colorado Springs and Bob Campbell of Council Bluffs, Iowa. Also surviving is Mr. Al Howard, 90, of Colorado Springs, a good friend and close companion in her later years. Julienne was a homemaker and office manager of Darold A. Wilkinson Bookkeeping and Tax Service. She worked in the customer service office of Dillards at the Citadel but in recent years she worked as the administrative assistant at Village Christian Church. She was an avid seamstress, craftsperson and knitter. Later in life she enjoyed being a member of the Red Hat Dazzlers of Colorado Springs. She loved to take trips to New York to see Broadway musicals and spent many years in St. Elmo, CO at the family's cabin. She was a member of the Village Christian Church for over 50 years. A memorial service will be held at Village Christian Church, 3113 Primrose Drive, Colorado Springs, CO on Thursday, September 29 at 11:00 AM. Memorial contributions may be made to Village Christian Church.
