Resident of Baypoint
Justa Justice (Penny) White, age 73, died peacefully after a brief illness at John Muir Hospital on Friday February 15, 2013. She is survived by her husband of 20 years, Everette White of Pittsburg, her daughter Sheri-Ann Hasenfus of Martinez , son Gary-David Hasenfus of Daly City, her brother Daniel Paniagua of Antioch , two step daughters and five grandchildren. Justa was predeceased by her father Daniel Paniagua and her mother Angelina Paniagua both of Antioch.
Justa was born February 12 , 1940 in Pittsburg CA. She grew up in Antioch and attended cosmetology school graduating in 1957. She was a beautician for over 35 years in Concord, Orinda and Danville. She was also a published author with a few short stories in magazines over the years.
She loved cooking for her family on holidays. Justa was an animal lover all her life. She also enjoyed Bingo , gambling, gardening, knitting and baking. She was dearly loved and is sorely missed.
A memorial will be held Saturday March 9, 2013 11:00 am at Higgins Chapel 1310 A Street Antioch, CA reception to follow. In lieu of flowers the family asks that donations be made in her name to her favorite charity the ASPCA .

I lost a lifetime friend who I was very close too. We shared many good times since we were 15 years old.and did alot of crazy things together and had alot of fun. We kept in contact with phone calls recalling our high school day. I miss you Hija

Condolences from an old classmate of Penny's. She was a wonderful friend and classmate and I know she will be missed by all her family and friends. Pretty in high school and still pretty.
