Karen Crews, 82, passed away peacefully in her sleep on Saturday, February 10, 2024. She was born in Sterling, Colorado, to Roy and Ethel (Wederski) Kimler who preceded her in death. She was also preceded in death by her brother, Walter H. (Jack) Benson, Jr.
She graduated from Manitou High School and the Blair Business College. She then worked for the State Department of Vocational Rehabilitation as well as Colorado College for many years. She was an avid CC Tiger Hockey fan.
Karen is survived by her brother Preston Kimler (Erin) of Cocoa, FL; daughter Tresa (Nick) De George; son, Randle Crews; grandsons Chris Munsell (Jenise) and Taylor Munsell (Lisa); nephew Adam Kimler and niece Alana Kimler and several great grandchildren.
Services will be held Tuesday February 20th at 1 pm at Fellowship of the Rockies. 1625 S. 8th Street, Colorado Springs, CO 80905. Pastor Stewart McWilliams will be officiating.
