Karol Daniel Obituary

Karol Lynn Daniel was born August 18, 1950 in Beaumont, Texas. She passed away August 09, 2013 in Tucson, AZ after an extended battle with Cancer. Her family was with her when she passed in peace. Karol's family lived in Venezuela until moving to Colorado Springs in 1960. She worked for Cobb Mechanical Contractors for 25 years, where she had many close friends, until her retirement in April 2013. Karol was an avid sports fan. She loved animals, movies, and walking trails with her dogs. Her trips with friends to the opera (and shopping) in Santa Fe, NM were special memories. She is survived by her brother Kent Daniel and wife Stephanie of Tucson, AZ. Her niece Shannon Larson of Phoenix, AZ, her nephew Kevin Daniel of Lakewood, CO, and her great nieces Kaleigh and Aubreigh Larson, who adored her Aunt Karol. Her extended family in the Beaumont, TX area and her many friends around the country. She was preceded in death by her mother and father. There will be a 'Celebration of Her Life' in Colorado Springs at a date to be announced. She will be buried in Beaumont, TX with her mother. The family requests in lieu of donations or flowers, please donate in her name to the Humane Society, or a charity of your choice. She is at peace and will be missed by all of us.

Karol was a great friend and we go back a long time. We had alot of good times together and I will cherish those memories. I know she is at peace now, but she left our world way too soon. I will always remember our get-togethers. As today is Karol's birthday, I will especially remember our breakfast and shopping trip on August 18 of 2012. Who knew it would be the last. I am so glad she was part of my world for a short time. RIP, Karol. I know we will meet again. Jeannie
