Karyn Lorbiecki Obituary
Karyn was born in Colorado Springs on December 27, 1970 to her surviving parents, Betty Jo (Person) & Donnie W. Ragsdale. She was the only girl of two older, surviving brothers Michael (wife Jennifer) and David (wife Angie) Ragsdale. She was a life-long member of the Widefield community graduating from Widefield High School in 1989.
Karyn is survived by two children whom she adored, Abigail Elizabeth (16) and Gabriel Allen (13). Both children attend Widefield schools and play sports in the community. Karyn worked as a medical assistant throughout the years and loved her job at Colorado Springs Allergy Associates.
Karyn was a beautiful person, inside and out. She had a kind spirit, a quiet voice, and loved to laugh. She was a fashionista who loved everything related to shopping, make-up, nails, hair, and pampering others. She was "mom" to her children's friends and would do anything for anybody.
A memorial service will be held at Pikes Peak Christian Church at 4955 Bradley Rd, Colorado Springs, CO 80911 on Tuesday, November 29, 2017 @ 3:00 pm.
A Go Fund Me account has been graciously set up for the children at https://www.gofundme.com/kp-gone-too-soon and flowers can be sent to the church.

It's always hard to hear of a loss of life, and moreso when it is "one of your own". I have always remembered Karyn's beautiful smile and that pretty red hair from our high school days. My heart stays with the whole family, with such sorrow for your broken ones.

Karyn always brighten my day when I got to work with her. Her children were so important to her, their photos are right on her desk. I enjoyed having coffee with her and helping her when I could. When she'd ask how I was doing, she meant it. We'd debate whether it's was better to be tall like her or short like me. Her kindness showed in her smile and her actions. She will be in my heart forever.
