Kathleen Hiltman-Padgett Obituary

Native of Colorado Springs, born and raised in Old Colorado City and loved the Garden of the Gods. Survived by loving husband Jack, son Todd (her best friend), 2 stepdaughters Brenda and Diane, 2 stepsons Jay and Jeremy-granddaughter Jennifer, grandson Ryan, 13 step-grandchildren, 4 great-grandbabies(?). She loved to fish, hunt and go to our cabin outside Craig, CO. Her family was her life along with the mountains ("Did you see Pikes Peak this morning?"), walking barefoot and doing for others. A member of PPCC Church for 25 years. She worked at Safeway as District Trainer 19yrs and El Paso Health Dept 10yrs. Her desires were to help homeless children and unwed mothers. Preceded in death by her mother Ruby Donner, sister Jan Bailey and brother Gene Padgett. Funeral services November 3, 2011 at 3:00pm at Pikes Peak Christian Church. Date extended to November as pastor is unavailable and giving time to family making preparations to come into town.
