Kathleen Hogan Obituary

Kathleen Anne Hogan went to be with the Lord on February 24, 2011 after a lengthy illness. Kathy, as she was known to her family and friends, was born December 30, 1953 in Hutchinson, Kansas to Joanne and John Koch. On November 25th, 1972, Kathy married her high-school sweetheart, Tom Hogan. They had one son, Brad, and have many happy memories of their 38 years together. Kathy, a gifted artist, greatly enjoyed her grandchildren, Parker and Camy. She also helped lead a prison fellowship ministry for over 12 years. Kathy was a gentle soul, with a loving heart and a quick wit. She will be greatly missed by all of us who had the privilege of knowing her. Kathy is survived by her father, John Koch. Her husband, Tom Hogan. Her son and daughter-in-law, Brad and Laura Hogan. Her grandchildren, Parker and Camy. Her brother, Terry Koch, and sister, Lindy Wiseman, as well as numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and close friends. A memorial service is planned for Sunday, March 13th, 5:30pm at Tri Lakes Chapel in Monument. In lieu of flowers, please send contributions to either Samaritan's Purse or Campus Crusade ministries.

Dear Tom and Brad,
When our family (Lori Pitcher and family) shared with us of Kathy's home going I could only say "Praise the Lord" because I know how much she looked forward to the day our Savior and Lord would say "this is the day Kathy my beloved, your work on earth is finished" I know it doesn't ever seem to be the right time and we have been away in Maryland for two and it has been 2 1/2 years since I saw Kathy but my love for her hasn't diminished and never will. We love you and all your family and know now you all look forward to the Lord's time for you as do Doug and I. "Precious in the sight of the Lord is the death of His Saints"
We send our heartfelt sympathy and love...Doug and Karen Abbotts
