Kathleen Mason Obituary

Kathleen May Mason, our beloved, passed away

peacefully into eternal life on August 19th, 2016, at Penrose Main Hospital in Colorado Springs,

Colorado. She was born in Washington, DC, on April 4, 1946, to Timothy and

Virginia May.

Kathleen graduated high school from Georgetown Visitation Prepatory School, in Washington, DC, and

received a degree in

education from Loretta Heights College in Denver. Following college, she had an early career as a special education teacher, and later as devoted mother.

She is survived by her

husband of 47 years of

marriage, Charles Mason; her son, Timothy Mason and his wife, Amy Mason; her grandchildren, Elle Mason and Camden Mason; her daughter, Monica Allred, her husband, Michael Allred and his children, Hayden Allred and Mikaela Allred; her

sister, Virginia May and her sister-in-law, Judith Mason Mayer.

Kathleen's service will be held at Holy Trinity Catholic Church on Friday, August 26th, at 11:00 a.m., located at 3122 Poinsetta Drive in Colorado Springs. A

reception will follow at The El Paso Club at 1:00 p.m. - 4:00 p.m., located at 30 East Platte Avenue in Colorado Springs.
