Kathleen Ann Nickle of Colorado Springs, CO. passed away on July 3 in Colorado Springs. She was 77 years old. She graduated from Western State College in Gunnison. She taught elementary school for many years in Peyton, Colorado. She touched so many lives with her kindness, strength, and sense of humor. Kathleen is survived by her two sons: Chad Nickle and Sean Nickle, her brother William Peery, and her two grandchildren: Willa Nickle and Mexia Nickle. Wayne, her husband, proceeded her in death in 2018. A celebration of her life will take place on Saturday, July 19 at 2p.m. at Swan-Law Chapel, 501 N. Cascade Ave., Colorado Springs. A reception will follow.

Kathy was such a vibrant, fun friend, and so active! She was a ticket-taker at the Pikes Peak Center for many years, Philharmonic subscriber, book club and Pilates class member, dog-lover, just to name a few. Love you Kathy ... Joyce
