Kathy Ann Fiedler passed away peacefully surrounded by family on November 2nd, 2025, two days before her 71st birthday. Born in Des Moines, Iowa, she and her family moved to Colorado Springs in 1965. Kathy met her soulmate George Fiedler at Coronado H.S. and married on March 16th, 1974. Kathy worked in retail, travel, and banking. She was certified in Early Childhood Development and was a preschool teacher for 14 years. Kathy is survived by her husband George, children Christopher (Hilary), Andrew (Christina), Lauren; grandchildren Joseph, Marcus, Henry, Mariana; sisters Susan Helstad and Janet Lowrance. Kathy is preceded in death by her parents Wayne and Mildred Teller; brother Joseph Teller; brothers-in-law Steve Lowrance and Glen Helstad; mother-in-law Emilie Fiedler; sister-in-law Margaret Fiedler; niece and nephew Renee and Jerry Lowrance. Celebration of Life will be held on November 22nd, 11:00 am at Bethel Lutheran Church. Share a memory of Kathy on the Evergreen Funeral Home website.

Dear George,
I am so sorry to read of Kathy's passing. I hadn't seen her in many years but never forgot her. Kathy had a gentle kindness & spirit. The 2 of you were a perfect pair in high school, beyond and for all eternity. The mourning runs deep.

I worked with Kathy at Calvary preschool. She was a true friend. She was one of the kindest and most gentle people I have ever known. I am devastated to hear about her passing. My sincere condolences to her husband, George and her family.

Oh my! I´m shocked. I rarely look at obits. For some reason I did today. I´m so sad to hear of Kathy´s passing. Not sure if I can make to memorial service. I no longer live in the Springs. Sending condolences.
