Resident of Antioch, CA
Kathy Ives passed away on December 26th at the Windsor Manor Rehabilitation Center In Concord, Ca. with her family by her side, after a short illness. She was born & raised in Antioch and attended Antioch Schools, including Antioch High.
She was known by family and friends as a very intelligent, fun-loving and generous person who would do anything for you. Kathy was also an animal lover throughout her life. She always had a kitty-cat or a dog or a bird (sometimes all at once) and at one time had her own horse,"Sweet Lips". She was also very concerned about the environment and especially loved going to the Black Diamond Mines Regional Park locally.
Kathy was loved by all and will be truly missed. She is survived by her father Allen Ives, her brother Michael Ives and Addie Barbee and by the "love of her life", fiancee Dennis Cordova, all of Antioch. She was preceeded in death by her mother Lillian in 2003.
A Celebration of Life will be held for Kathy on Friday January 23rd,1:30 PM at the Delta Association of Realtors Conference Center, 3428 Hillcrest Ave, Suite 200 (between Via Dora Dr. & Wildflower Dr.) in Antioch. In lieu of flowers,the family suggests a donation to the Antioch Animal Services Dep't.

My Kathers,, I miss you so much already, . I will miss our quirky songs,,we had so much fun together and made so many memories I thank God for them. to the family I'm so sorry for your loss she was the best woman ever,, forever my heart will ache and miss her,, but now she's with her mommy and I'm smiling for that??
