Kaye Diane Strabala

January 31, 2026

Kaye Diane Strabala (Bloskey) peacefully departed this life on January 31st, 2026, surrounded by her loving family. Born on April 15th, 1952, in Danville PA, to Domer and Dolores (Warfield) Bloskey, she was the eldest of three siblings. As the firstborn daughter and granddaughter, Kaye radiated a special light from the moment she entered the world, destined for greatness.
Throughout her life, she embraced various roles. Kaye began her career at Danville Subshop in Danville, PA, before joining her mother at Roslyn Yarns silk mill. Eventually, she found her true calling in Colorado, where she embarked on a successful advertising career with the Gazette Telegraph as an adwoman. Her infectious smile and vibrant personality could brighten any room. Kaye later transitioned into property management, serving as a Regional VP until her retirement.
Kaye had a heartfelt passion for improving everything around her. This love was evident in her beautiful garden in Colorado, her home, her family, and her close-knit circle of friends. If you were fortunate enough to know Kaye, you always felt at home and part of her family. Caring for others and ensuring their well-being was her true essence. She and her husband chose Naples, FL, as their final home, which she lovingly referred to as her "happy place."
Kaye had a deep affection for the ocean and the sandy beaches. You could often find her basking in the sun with her toes in the pool. Dancing, attending concerts, riding motorcycles, crafting greeting cards, and playing pool were just a few of the activities that brought her immense joy. Family held a special place in Kaye's heart, from the birth of her grandchildren to her marriage to her soulmate, Eddie, and her children and their spouses. Any furry friend was instantly embraced as her own. Kaye cherished all her puppies and always prioritized family. To her, family extended beyond blood relations; it included anyone who needed a loving home
Kaye was preceded in death by her mother, Dolores, her father, Domer, and her sister, Cindy. She is survived by her husband Eddie, her two children, Tonya and Joe, along with their spouses, Travis and Sandi. Her grandchildren, Morgan and Nate Stroud, and McKenna, her brother Joseph, and his wife, are also part of her legacy. Additionally, she is survived by her caring family members, Aunts Susie and Wendy, her Uncle Terry and Bill, and her cousins Kathy and Edward and her Stepmother Deborah. The family wishes to express their gratitude to Avow Hospice for the compassionate care and support they provided to Kaye in her final moments. In lieu of flowers, Kaye requested that those who are able consider donating blood and plasma to help those battling Cancer.

Our unfortunate diseases brought us together. But I was so fortunate to meet her infectious smile at the lunch table at our cancer group. She was so welcoming and we became instant friends, supporting each other on the journey. Her heart and zest for life was one of a kind. I miss her dearly already. Until we meet again, my beautiful friend.

Kaye was such a bright light. She was always supportive, always kind, and always greeting everyone with her contagious smile. We had so much fun at the Elks pool, book clubs, and parties together. She was a constant supporter of my events, and she was the life of the party.
I´m so glad she and Eddie were able to enjoy these years together in Florida. Sending love, comfort, and heartfelt condolences to you, Eddie, and all the family, and everyone who loved her.

The world is less, now that we no longer have Kaye. Kaye never met a stranger, nor had she left anyone unfriended. The world is less.

It was an honor and extreme pleasure to have been a friend. Riding in Colorado with you and Eddie and all the HOG members. Soar on wings like eagles. Walk and not grow weary. Run and never fall. See you again, sister.
