Kaylene Romani Obituary

Kaylene Maree Romani died suddenly on Saturday 28th February 2009 at home. Kaylene was born on the 3rd April 1963, in Leeton N.S.W., Australia to Kay and Bert McCleary, the third of four children. She met her husband Roberto on Valentine’s day in 1992, and it was love at first sight for both of them. They married on September 5th 1992 and their love has endured through highs and lows, especially through the many medical problems Roberto has endured. Their love was always strong. Kaylene was many things to many people. She was a devoted and loving wife, a loyal, caring and generous friend, daughter, and sister as well as an adoring and doting aunt to her nieces and nephews. She is survived by her husband Roberto and beloved dog Coco, her mother Kay and husband Milton, sisters and brother-in-laws - Julia and Alan, Christine and Richard, and brother Steven and his wife Trish. She is also survived by Roberto’s sisters and husbands - Rita and Claude and Gemma and Jason, as well as 6 nephews and 3 nieces . We will miss you our darling, more than we can say Memorial Services are at 10:00 a.m., Friday, March 6, 2009, Grace and St. Stephen’s Church, 601 N. Tejon, Colorado Springs, Colorado

We were shocked and deeply saddened by the sudden loss of Kaylene. She was a wonderful person with a great sense of humor. I will miss her bubbly laugh, and feel blessed for the fun times we did share and will miss her deeply.

Dear Roberto,

Lucy and I were both shocked and sad to hear on the loss of your lovely wife Kaylene. We want to extend our condolences to you and to the rest of both of your extended family in Australia and the U.S.
We remember the first time we met Kaylene on our Monaco/Italy trip in 2006 at our Group briefing in Monaco when she came up to Lucy with a big smile and said "Hi I am Kaylene and this is my husband Roberto". As we got to know each other in the few days that we traveled together, Kaylene was a kind, funny, pleasant and warm loving woman who enjoyed life and a good hearty laugh. Roberto till this day when I hear the song "I Will Survive" I still have vivid memories of Kaylene going up on stage singing and dancing to this song, we all had a wonderful evening at that restaurant up on the mountain in Tuscany. I laughed so much that night...
Roberto, I know that your loss is deep and may the memories and love you had for Kaylene help you and comfort you at this difficult time. Our thoughts are with you. Sending you big hugs and kisses.

We are so sad at the passing of Kaylene. We shared many fun days and nights when we lived in the same street in Green Point NSW, Australia. We also shared a great affinity with our love of our furry children! Kaylene was the most generous, loving and caring person and will be so missed. Our love and thoughts are with you Robbie and we hope to see you soon.

Kayl's, when we met 21 years ago, I felt like I had known you all my life. We had the same stupid sense of humour and a shared love of a long chat over a cappuccino or 5 (usually when we should have been doing other things like attending class!). When we met Danny & Robbie the friendship expanded to 4 and the laughs got louder. I will love you and miss you for the rest of my life...so many memories, so many good times, so many laughs. I will treasure them always.
Robbie, we love you, our prayers and thoughts are with you. To Kay, Julia, Chris, Steven and families we extend our deepest sympathy for your loss.
Love you Kayl's

I will miss you dearly Kaylene. I was lucky enough to be called a "rat bag" and a "dag" by you, and those that knew you know what an honor that was.

You were a unique individual and I was truly blessed to have known you in life. You will never be forgotten and I will think of you fondly and often.

Goodbye Darl'....

This was my friend who I will miss very much. We met for lunch every Tuesday and would sit and giggle over the silliest things. She always made me late getting back to work but it was hard to leave. She never failed to ask about my furkids and would send home leftovers from her meal for them. I just had to say "Aunt Kaylene" and the dogs knew they were in for a treat.

She called me a "dag" and a "whinger" and would laugh uproariously if someone said vowels were "a-e-i-o-u-and sometimes y". She picked on my pronunciation of "Tuesday", "Brochure" and "Coupon" until I wasn't sure what the right way was anymore. On her last visit to Australia, she brought back a crystal koala that hangs from my rear view mirror and will probably be there forever. Kaylene will be going home to Australia for her final rest but a piece of her will stay in my heart forever.
