Kenneth Bowling Obituary

Kenny, my gracious cousin. One who took me in when visitng Colorado Springs, one who took me watersking, no mind the weather nor the tether of the landscape in hiking up pikes peak, but I am sure god is watching over you in all his earnestnest and graciousness in how he keeps.

Ken is an honest forthright person. I knew him back in high school but when I (re) met him during a time of crisis with my car, it was a God-send. I miss discussing cars and other business interests with him. His kindness and generosity will always touch me.

To Mindy and the Bowling/Gillen families you are all in our thoughts. Kenny will always be remembered by me as the boy with the smiling eyes. During our visits to Colorado he would show us "how it's done" in Colorado... He was full of life, love and happiness. This is all so sad and tragic. I will keep you all in my thoughts and prayers always.

We just got the news last night, and are very saddened by the loss of our friend, Ken. Our thoughts & prayers are with all of you close to him at this difficult time. He obviously touched a lot of people, and was a pleasure to deal with over the past several years, both personally, and in business. If there is anything we can do, please let us know...

My daughter Kathren told us of Ken's passing. My husband Mike and I are so very sorry. We lived across the street from you and Ken on Lonsdale. Ken was very kind to my daughter Kathren. He was the only good and honest man she would trust her cars to. Words fail me. Know that so many people are thinking of you and remembering your dear Ken.

Kenny was a great guy and a great friend. He truely understood the meaning of friendship and treated everyone he meet with the upmost respect. He always took the high road and knew in his heart it was the only choice. Kenny touched the hearts of all whom knew him and will certainly be missed by all.

Mindy it has been a long time since i have had the pleasure to see the whole family but kept in contact with Kenny throughout the years through elite auto and our common love and knowldge for CARS as we helped each other out over many various times .our thoughts and prayers are with you through this difficult time may the love of god and peace be with you

I was blessed to find Kenny and Elite auto, when I was looking for a great mechanic little did I know he would turn out to be a great friend also. He always had time for me even when he was so busy. My heart is so heavy with grief , I will truly miss him . I will never forget him . Rest in peace my friend. Mindy I hope this in some way helps you to know how much he meant to so many . Although we had hardly gotten to spend time altogether, it was a pleasure to know the both of you. I cannot express my sorrow for you as I could never imagine life without Ken. Awhile working at Elite, he shared and talked to me about many things, helped me in many ways, he just was always there for me and so many others. I will keep the thoughts of Ken close to my heart. We started taking our cars to Ken ten years ago because of his professional integrity and honesty. We kept up that relationship because of the friendship we made and his genuine care and concern for others. He will be missed by all.

Karl and I have such wonderful and fun memories of spending time with Kenny and Mindy. It was a true honor to get to know Kenny througout the years. We send our sincere sympathy to Mindy and the family during the very difficult time.

Please accept my deepest condolences for your tremendous loss.

Although its been many years, I remember Kenny as such a bright and kind person. He so loved you Mindy (and loves you still!)

He was so kind to kids, enjoyed cars, and simply loved living life.

I'll always remember his big smile and his kindness to my children.

Ken was truly a kind and wonderful man. Always had a smile, and always willing to help. He will be missed by all those he leaves behind.

As a team mate of Kenny's Dad, Bo, we have known Kenny since he was 6 years old. We never saw him without his big smile and his caring, courteous, pleasant treatment of others. The members of the Ent/ADC softball teams of the late '60s and early '70s and the Carden family will never forget him. He was especially kind and helpful to us. May God give strength to his lovely wife, Mindy, and the Bowling family now and in the future. We miss him greatly.

Ken was a wonderful brother-in-law and a good friend. Sharing family functions with Ken and Minday were wonderful times. Talking about fast cars and making them faster, was something he always wanted to do and took the time to do. He lived life and loved life, and he will be sorely missed. Hopes and prayers for Mindy, Bo, and the whole family.

Mrs. Spaid and I extend our sympathy to the entire Bowling family. I enjoyed knowing the Bowling kids when they attended Wilson Elementary School.

Kenny had so many great sayings, one of my favorites was a car racing saying he used in response to anything involving uncertainty...."when in doubt, give it gas..." There was no uncertainty about his love for Mindy, his love of cars, his love of life. We'll miss you Kenny.
