Kenneth Brosh Obituary

Kenneth "Kent" William Brosh, after a courageous three year bout with cancer, entered heaven restored on December 4, 2008. Kent was born on November 16, 1941, in Montrose, Colorado and moved to Colorado Springs in 1949. Kent was President of Crissey Flowler Lumber Company from 1985-2000 when he retired. He loved being an active member of our community and served as a Board Member of many organizations including: Better Business Bureau, Boy Scouts of America, Cheyenne Mountain Zoo, Colorado Cancer Society, Colorado National Bank-Exchange, now US Bank, C.S. Chamber of Commerce, C.S. Child Nursery Centers, C.S. School, C.S. World Affairs Council, Community Planning & Research Council, El Paso Club Board and President, El Paso County Cancer Society, Environmental Planning Association and National Lumber Dealers Association. His hobbies included golf, skiing, running and photography. Kent is survived by his beloved family: his wife Ann; daughter, Kendy (Kirk); grandchildren, Garrett and Mallory; son, Jeff; a brother, Tom (Mimi); nephew, Denton (Crystal) and niece, Kourtney (Nick). In lieu of flowers, contributions are requested for Vision Trust Int'l, a ministry for children all over the world, P. O. Box 50524, Colorado Springs, CO 80949. A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, December 10th at 11:00 a.m. at Woodmen Valley Chapel, 290 Woodmen Road.
