I thought of him today, a few months shy of when he left this world. No words can convey how much I miss this man as a professor who helped me navigate the world and taught me so much.

I met Ken through my deaf friends at the Post Office. I had the pleasure of working with him at the Deaf Sertoma Club, along with my friend, Antonio Quintana. Later, Ken was one of my ASL professors at UCCS. I always will remember him as one of the kindest, caring people I know. Prayers offered up for Ken's family.

Ken was one of the first Deaf adults I met, at the CSDB Family Learning Vacation, when my son Brian was just a little guy. He seemed like such a kind and patient man, and proved to be so. He helped welcome Brian and my family into the Deaf Community. I know he will be immeasurably missed.

Diane and family, my prayers are with you. He was always there for anyone who needed him and as much as we will miss him, I wish you all comfort as the days ahead without him pass. With God's care may your hearts heal.

This time last year as David passed, he came and we said the rosary together. I started a Novena for him last week and feel closer to him that way. My love to you all.

....and known for teaching countless deaf high schoolers to drive! Ken was a part of my 20 years at CSDB, always friendly and helpful and tolerant of my so-slowly evolving ASL skills. So very sad to hear that he has passed away, and my condolences for this huge loss in your lives. I am honored to have known and worked with Ken.

Ken Eurek came into this world with a purpose and he had touched so many people's life in a very positive way. Such atmosphere he had created over the years has sent such goodwill into the mind and heart of not only the people who are living the life beyond those who are less fortunate. He looked beyond the horizon to give consideration of balancing out the even and the positive frames so things will fall in line of almost no one is left out. All in all, I have enjoyed every opportunity of associating and working with him and I am going to miss him greatly.

May he rest in peace eternally! He will be forever missed by all of those who have come to know him.

Diana.Death leaves a heartache no one can heal, love leaves a memory no one can steal. This quote was from an Irish headstone and we thought it would comfort you.

As always,

Ken was my PE teacher while I was at CSDB. He was a funny guy and fun loving. He always would use my initials to make my name sign like his name sign but only with my initials. He would laugh and laugh when I would say no, that's not what my sign is! He loved to joke but he was also a very caring man who put his students needs first. He was very encouraging and kind hearted. He will be missed.

Ken made a huge difference in the lives of everyone he knew. I loved having him and Diane as neighbors back in the day. My foster kids benefitted greatly from his coaching and drivers training and he was a trusted mentor to me. I am so sorry he left this Earth so early. Diana and family are in my prayers and thoughts. God will bring you through difficult journey but give you the comfort and joy of what a wonderful guy he was to you. Glad that I knew him from my old school and he was the best friend of my brother at NSD. I was his teammate in badminton in Deaf Olympic game at Sofia 1993. He was amazing and at good heart with everybody with his beautiful smile! He is surely missed but you will see him very soon.

Ken was an Angel on earth. He's been a wonderful soldier for God. He served others in many many ways. I've had the pleasure of working with him with Silent Sertoma, and St. Marys cathedral. He faithfully came to my parents home and gave them communion and shared the readings and meaning with them. He picked up people brought them to church, brought food to share, coordinated interpreters, etc. A very humble, loving, compassionate man. I wish I would've let him know how special he was to me, sigh. Bless his heart as he carries on as an Angel in heaven, he will be missed. Hugs and love to his family.

I am so saddened about the news of Ken's passing. He was always such a caring person. He was always very patient with me while I was learning sign language and especially with fingerspelling. He was an amazing Driver's Ed teacher. When I drove students in the Driver's Ed car they would always tell me how much they liked their class. Ken was a friend to both deaf, blind and hearing. Rest in Peace my dear friend and God comfort your family.

ken was not only a great human being but also an incredible athlete. He was one of the greatest ever to wear Nebraska School for he Deaf athletic uniform. the most memorial event was that ken led NSD to an unforgetable umdefeated 8-0 football season in 1968. I'm proud to be one of his trusted friends.
