Kenneth Plonkey Obituary
Ken was preceded in death by his parents, Alvin and Loretta (Baumgarten) Plonkey and his brother Ronald Plonkey.
Ken is survived by his loving wife Rosemary (Ann), his sister Carole Hastings; his 3 children Shannon Plonkey (Cinnamon), Erik Plonkey (Corbey), Carla Miller (Michael); 2 step children Lane Hapke and Terri Parks (Rich); 9 grandchildren, Torry Plonkey (Ashley), Tonni Daley (Kevin), Tally Plonkey, Olivia Plonkey, Savannah Plonkey, Sam Plonkey, Desmond Miller, Sophia Miller, Cody Hapke (Elena), Logan Hapke (Heather), Dalton Parks and Natalie Parks; and 2 great grandchildren, Scarlett Plonkey and Colton Plonkey.
Memorial Service will be held on Friday, October 21, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. at Central United Methodist Church, 4373 Galley Rd, Colorado Springs, CO 80915
In lieu of flowers, please make a donation to your favorite local theatre company.

I only knew Kenneth through the internet, as an acting tutor. He gave me precious advice for I will always be grateful. If I ever become a good actor, I will owe much of it to him. My condolences to his family.

I wanted to so badly to be there today, but knew I'd just cry too much. You are all in my prayers. Doc was one of the most wonderful, talented and kind people I've ever known. My heart is broken at his loss, but I look forward to seeing him again in heaven. <3

I am saddened to hear the news of Ken. Although my mother and he divorced years ago, he was a wonderful grandfather to my daughters, Jillian Babbel Mendioror and Colleen Babbel, as well as a loving "stepfather" to me. He lit up the room with stories of acting, and loved discussing recipes and food. My condelences to Ann, Shannon, Erik and Carla, and the rest of the family. Susan Babbel
