Kenneth John Hans Schubert was born in Clark, SD. He entered eternal life in Colorado Springs, CO.

During his senior year of high school, he became a Christian. After graduation he attended Bible College, where he met his wife, Barbara Smith.

In 1962 they moved to Ecuador to work with Avant as dorm parents at a boarding school for missionary children. While in Ecuador he became an ordained minister of the Gospel.

Upon returning to the US he pastored churches with Village Missions in rural America. After retiring, he moved to Colorado Springs, CO to be close to family.

He is survived by his wife, Barbara; his children, Mark; Lorra Beth Forbes (David); John (Sheri); Matthew (Vicki); along with 13 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.

A Memorial Service will be held at 11:00 on Friday, October 15 at Austin Bluffs EV Free Church.
