Kerry Langness Obituary

Kerry was promoted to glory on December 9, 2015 at the age of 61. Kerry was born on September 29, 1954 in Mankato, MN. to Wilfred and Doris Langness (Moe), both deceased. He is survived by all seven of his brothers; Gene, Clifford, Allan, David, Wayne, Timothy, and Richard Langness; and his sisters, Carol (Johnson), Valarie (Blomquist), and Kathy (Hoffer) Langness.

He is also survived by his wife of 43 years Patricia A. (Medeiros) Langness, three sons; Micah (Eunice), Phillip (Amy), Aaron (Emily) Langness, and his five precious grandchildren; Noah, Esha, Breven, Christian and Gabriella Langness.

Kerry "strived to walk with the Lord each and everyday". His 26 year fellowship at Northeast Bible Chapel was of utmost importance to him and his family. After graduating from Harrison High School in Colorado Springs in 1972, Kerry dedicated himself to his high school sweetheart, children, business and walk with Christ his Savior. Kerry's brilliant smile and personality could truly light up a room. He was not only an inspiration to friends and family, but also to those that had the pleasure to meet him.

The private burial for family only will take place at Evergreen Cemetery, Colorado Springs on Thursday, December 17, 2015 at 1:00 P.M.

A Celebration of Life is on Friday, December 18, 2015 at 1:00 P.M. at Northeast Bible Chapel. 1722 McArthur Ave, 80909

Kerry didn't know me very well, as I didn't stop into town very often, but he always had a smile, a warm handshake, and a kind word for me whenever I would visit. I appreciate him officiating at my sister's wedding in 2011.

My condolences are to his family, but I am comforted that they "do not grieve as those who have no hope."

Love to all the family Kerry was so much to all ! For I am convinced beyond any doubt] that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor things present and threatening, nor things to come, nor powers, nor height, nor depth, nor any other created thing, will be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.

I want to express my sincere sympathy on the passing of your loved one; his gain but your loss. I regret that distance prevented me from knowing my cousin here on earth, but we have eternity! I am so thankful for our heritage that has led and guided us. JoAnn Moe Schmidtgal
