Kevin Martin Emery, 60, passed away on Jan. 17, 2022. He was a resident of Colorado Springs for 20 years.
He was born on Aug. 27, 1961, to Earl Eugene Emery and Mary Teresa (Orton) Emery in Youngstown, Ohio. He earned his bachelor's degree and then worked in the banking and restaurant industries. Kevin enjoyed cooking, traveling, gardening, reading and football, especially the Denver Broncos.
Kevin is survived by his children: Heather Emery and Ryan Emery and their mother, Laura. He is also survived by his sisters: Maria McGrath (Don), Katie Bennett (Larry), Erin Emery (Mary Flavin), Sheila Emery, Noreen Cheyne (John), Mary Peacock (Scott); and his brothers: Martin Emery (Kelly), Terrence Emery, Earl Emery III, and many nieces and nephews. Kevin was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Brian.
A memorial service will be held at 10 a.m. on Tuesday, Jan. 25, 2022 at the Shrine of Remembrance "America the Beautiful" Chapel, 1730 E. Fountain Blvd., Colorado Springs, CO 80910.
