Kevin Moore Obituary
KEVIN MOORE, JR. November 18, 2018
Kevin was born in Fort Riley, Kansas and was a student at Colorado Technical University studying Criminal Justice. Kevin joined the US Army as an Intel Analyst on July 19, 2011. He served three combat tours: Afghanistan July 2013-March 2014, Kuwait February 2015-November 2015 and Poland January 2017-August 2017. He was honorably discharged November 10, 2017.
Kevin was a lively person, full of constant jokes and laughter. He was a free spirit that enjoyed the outdoors. He absolutely loved to snowboard and to go off road in his big toy that most knew as his black jeep. Many knew Kevin as an avid video gamer.
Kevin's mission in life was to see others smile. He was always willing to help and would literally give the shirt off his back. Behind that great smile, Kevin suffered silently with PTSD. On November 18, 2018 he lost that battle with PTSD.
Kevin is survived by his mother Libertad Montana Moore; father Kevin Moore, Sr.; stepmother Sophia Moore; sister Ingrid Rickstat; brother Dwight Moore; stepsisters Shameya and Lia; stepbrother Jayden; grandparents Willie and Eva Moore and Sandra Davis; aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and countless friends that called him family.
He will be forever in our hearts. Rest Easy Kevin!
Memorial services to be held Saturday, December 1, 2018 at Veterans of Foreign Wars (VFW) 430 E Pikes Peaks Ave., Colorado Springs, Colorado 80903.
Flowers, donations and condolences may be offered at 1155 Kachina Drive, Colorado Springs, Colorado 80915.
